ZEISS DriveSafe
Lenses
ZEISS Luminance Design™ Technology (LDT)
Better vision in low-light conditions for safer and more comfortable driving thanks to ZEISS Luminance Design™ Technology (LDT), which takes into account different light conditions and pupil sizes for natural vision at all times.

ZEISS DriveSafe Lenses offer multiple patient benefits

DuraVision® DriveSafe Coating
Reduced glare at night from oncoming cars or streetlights with the help of DuraVision® DriveSafe Coating. It partially reflects the wavelengths responsible for unclear vision, discomfort and irritation, resulting in less perceived glare up to 64%.
Optimized Distance and Intermediate Viewing Zones
ZEISS developed the new DriveSafe Progressive Lenses with optimized distance and intermediate viewing zones, reducing the need for horizontal head movement and making it easier for patients to quickly refocus between the road, dashboard and mirrors.

Luminance Design Technology
Technology that accounts for the average pupil size while driving in mesopic conditions and optimizes the lens design accordingly (5.0mm in single vision lenses and 4.3mm in progressive lenses)
UVProtect Technology
Sunglass-level UV protection, which enables clear ZEISS lenses to block harmful UV rays up to 400nm. This is the same standard of UV protection premium sunglasses provide.
DuraVision
DriveSafe
DuraVision® DriveSafe Coating is an anti-reflective coating that partially reflects specific wavelengths responsible for glare.
FaceFit Technology
Matches the unique facial anatomy for full potential of lens zones.
DriveSafe Lens
Design
Optimizes distance and intermediate viewing zones, thus reducing the need for horizontal head movement. Provides up to 43% larger* intermediate- and up to 14% larger distance- viewing zones.
FrameFit+ Technology
Optimized lens performance in any frame.
